PIXMA TS3522 Unable to scan from my desktop

Ineed to scan some documents, but I don't have an icon on my desktop or taskbar to get to my printer. How do I add the icon to iether place? Please help, greatly appreciated..

Using Windows 10

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon product you're using and its model number along with the operating system that's running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof). Sorry, new to this. Lol. I am using the Pixma TS3522 on Windows 10. I am using a refurbished Dell Optiplex 990 computer that I just got. If that helps any. Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

If you installed the printer driver from the Canon website, please click the Windows start button and scroll down until you see a Canon Utilities folder. In that folder should be a program called IJ Scan Utility. This is the program you will want to use for scanning.
