PIXMA TS3522 How can I get phone support when I can't register my product?

I cannot get help with a product that I own, because Canon wants me to register my item.  I do not have the original receipt and I have absolutely no idea where I bought this item or when.  Is there anyway to be able to get an actual person on the phone to help me?

I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem getting support.

- What is the exact model of your Canon product? (It can usually be found on the top or front of the unit.)
- Are you seeing any error messages?
- Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
- How do you connect to your Canon product: via USB or Wi-Fi?

Any additional details you provide will help the community better understand your issue.

Thank you, and have a great day!

I have a Pixma TS3522 that is supposed to be wireless.  When I first bought it I was able to set it up just fine.  Once I moved and had new internet it would not longer connect.  I was using the physical cord from printer to laptop for a little while, but now that is no longer feasible.  I have tried to call Canon support, but I have to have my item registered.  I have absolutely no idea when I bought this thing, nor do I have a receipt.  At the last house, where we ended up just using the physical cord, we worked for hours on this looking online for instructions and following all the Pixma/Canon online manual and help group suggestions, before we finally gave up.  I am using Windows 11 and Cox internet and I connect via Wi-Fi.  There are no error codes and the green light is NOT flashing at this point.  Also, the number you provided above is the same number that I called that would not help me unless my printer was registered, which I was unable to do because I do not know when or where I purchased this printer and I do not have a receipt.

Thanks for the info.  While we'd prefer things like a copy of the receipt and a precise purchase date, we know that information's not always available.  For instance, if you got the item as a gift, that info probably won't be known.  You should be able to bypass the receipt and for the purchase date, you can just put down your best honest guess.

Hope this helps!

That did not work - it would not let me move on without a receipt

If you don't remember buying it, Is it possible you might have received it as a gift from a generous friend or loved one?  Selecting "Other" for Place of Purchase and then stating it was a gift in the next blank lets gift recipients bypass the receipt requirement.  Otherwise, you may need to go through your email records, bank account statements, and credit card statements to figure out where that printer was purchased.  You can then contact the vendor and they might be able to provide you a replacement copy of the receipt.
