PIXMA TS3420 won't pick up paper, colors are dull

Brand new printer will not pick up paper of any kind. And i did a comparison with this printer and epson with printing colors and i cant believe how dull looking images and stickers turned out when epson was so colorful and vibrant. And the settings were as good as i can get them on both. Also canon printers seem to fall apart so easy and there bottom tray feeders are the worse i have seen on brand printers. And these companies know that to force you to buy another printer

Id like to know why it would matter what operating system he is using? From my experience with canon printers every one i had printed dull colors and when i switched to hp and epson for a short period of time the colors were so vibrant and amazing compared to the ugly colors canon printers produced. Problem is canon dont set there printers up for vibrancy and ink that soaks in paper
