PIXMA TR8660a ink not working

Hi. I have a PIXMA TR8660a printer for about a year. Not much use. 

Recently, the Cyan ink stopped working: not blue colour coming on the paper. Ink levels show as normal and the 2 new Cyan cartridges I have put in, show that they are expended!

I tried cleaning, deep cleaning, full soft reset, and hard resets (not sure of that) but nothing changed. 

I hope my printer is not broken....
