PIXMA TR8620 - Cannot get past "Failure to acquire information..." message on Win10 driver install

Come on Canon, do your job.

Just purchaced a TR8622.

Your call center was unable to help with download of driver and utilities.

They did get my printer setup on wifi with Microsoft "ADD A PRINTER" but

they were unable to help with your download problems.

Why do I need to use Microsoft Windows 10 instead of Canon web site?
