PIXMA TR8500 - Quit printing

My printer just stopped printing. 1st it said "printer door open" when it wasn't, so I followed the recommendations from this website to turn off, remove and replace paper tray and restart in 5-10 minutes. It no longer says "printer door open," but still when I hit print, it goes to the que, and everything looks normal but it doesn't print. I recently replaced the main black ink cartridge right before this started (if that has any affect). Please advise.

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the exact printer model you’re working with along with any other information you think might be helpful for the Community to know. You'll find the specific model within the TR8500 series on the top or front of your printer, you may have to lift/close the paper tray to see it.
