I have gotten an Support code 7700 on my Canon 7020a. It says I'm supposed to turn off the machine and contact the service center. How do I do that and what is this code?

This sounds just like the "ERROR" I got on my MG2522. I've had two of em - both threw the same B200 "error" message to take it to a service shop. Every shop I call says "it aint worth repairing", and you cannot buy whatever part to fix it yourself - Canon won't sell you the part. I have a hunch it isn't actually a failure - it's a firmware built-in "F YOU" after so many pages to force buying another. I won't - I'm informing all friends and family DO NOT EVER BUY A CANON HOME PRINTER!

The support code 7700 on the Canon PIXMA TR7020a typically indicates a problem with the print head or an internal hardware malfunction. This error can arise from several issues, including:
To fix the error code 7700, follow these steps:
Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. Replace any cartridges that are empty or damaged.
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can reset the printer and clear temporary errors.
