PIXMA TR7020a Ink cartridges not recognized

I have a brand new pixma TR7020a that came with ink cartridges and when I installed the cartridges it keeps saying they are not recognized. I’ve checked for any orange tape and I’ve taken them out and replaced them several times but every time it says they are not recognized.

Since the ink that came with the printer is not detected,  I recommend reaching out to Canon support. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
