Hi, dbogan!

Welcome to the Canon Community! Since there are dozens of different models in Canon's PIXMA line of printers, we will need the specific model number of your printer to make any recommendations on this issue. Any other details you can provide will also be helpful.

If this is a time-sensitive matter, please check out your other support options here: https://canon.us/MyCanonAccount

Thanks!

I think I found it  TR4722

Hi dbogan,

Blurry or double printing from your PIXMA TR4722 can be caused when the encoder/timing strip is dirty or smudged.

To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in this Knowledgebase Article:

Cleaning the Encoder Film - TR4700 series
