PIXMA TR4720 won't print in BW, faint blurry printing, lines going through content

My Canon Pixma TR4720 is under one year old. 

It continually fails to print anything in black-and-white. It has problems with everything being completely blurry or barely being visible on the page, as well as lines going through some areas of the page. 

It fails a nozzle check in the black/white section but the colored-ink sections seem to be mostly fine.

I have replaced the black-white cartridge, even though my original cartridge still has half ink life. 

I have run multiple system cleans and deep cleans. I have realigned the heads 

I have cleaned the inner timing belt with an alcohol swab, but also never noticed any smears and streaks in it. 

What else can I do? Thanks for your help

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
