I have had this printer for 4 months and nothing but trouble. It is a TR4720 connected to my desktop via USB. I can print a test page but when I get to print a page or copy a page it stops printing after about 80% of the first page and says it has stopped printing. This is just very frustrating and not what I expect from Cannon

Hi jeegbert!
That sounds very frustrating. What I'd do if I were you is reinstall the printer like it's new by following the steps here: https://canon.us/TR4720setup
That procedure will uninstall any drivers and software on your computer, then reinstall the most current version and re-pair your printer to your computer—either by USB or WiFi (one or the other).
After you've done that, let us know if it resolves the issue or if you still need help.

Thank you. Ihave done this several times i the past. It works for a few days and then reverts back to the prining 80% of the first page and then gets hung up in the que. The ONLY way to cancle the print job is to turn off the printer, unplug it, and plug it back in. Very, very frustrating. We shall see what happens in the next few days. Question; What good is a printer if you cannot depend upon it to work when needed?
