PIXMA PRO-100 print head keeps clogging

I have a pizza pro 100 printer. My print head keeps clogging up and I have tried all the remedies posted on the Internet for this printer. Now, my only color that won’t work is magenta. Have genuine canon ink cartridges. So, I bought a new in the package replacement and it does not work at all. Is there anything else I can do? I really like this printer— have had for many years.

Please follow all of the steps on this page from the PRO-100's manual to resolve the printing issue you are experiencing:

If the colors still do not print, your PIXMA PRO-100 would require service.  The issue could be with the printhead, but there is no guarantee that replacing the printhead will resolve this.  Also, there are no returns on parts purchased from Canon.  If you still wish to replace the printhead, you may contact the Parts Department by dialing 1-866-481-2569.  The hours of operation the Parts Department are 9:00 AM to 7 PM ET, Monday through Friday.  They can provide you with availability and cost.

You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
