PIXMA MX922 - won't print docs on Win 10 and 11

I have a Canon MX922 Printer that worked in Windows 8 and 10. I have the current driver dated 10.04.21.


I now have a new laptop with Windows 11 and I am having a problem with the printer.My other Windows 10 laptop is having the same problem.
I told it to print a test page and it did.
I told it to print Head alignment value and it did.
I told it to print a jpg Pic and it did.

I told it to print an Open Doc page and a new text doc.
It said No Preview available and went through the notions of printing, but without putting any ink on the page.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver software without any difference.
