Hello,
I was trying to use my scanner in my Canon Pixma 922 today. I noticed a b200 error and my entire device was not working. After that I removed the catriges and I got another 1600 (or similar) error asking me to reinstall them.
I do not need any printing. Only want to use my scanner. It seems like the system is designed to force you into buying new ink that will run out if you do not use it.
How can I bypass these errors without using purchasing new ink. Just want to use my scanner.
Any help or advice is deeply appreciated.

Thanks for joining the conversation! We're happy to share that it's possible to scan with an empty ink tank or cartridge. To start scanning, follow the instructions at this link.
