PIXMA MP 830 doesn't work with Yosemite.

I upgraded my Mac Pro to Yosemite. Printing seems to work, butscanning and FAXing no longer work properly. I assume the driver is no longer compatible. Is there a plan to support the MP830 for Yosemite or am I going to have to replace this perfectly fine multifunction printer?

There are not plans to update the drivers for the PIXMA MP830 so that it is compatible with the Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating system.  Please Contact Us for other options available to you.

Pretty ordinary by Canon for a printer that costs me a small fortune at the time....

I have the same problem after upgrading to Yosemite with my PIXMA mg6150 not functioning anymore.
Any solution coming up?
