PIXMA MG6250 Not Printing any colour

Jancux
Apprentice

My MG62500 has suddenly stopped printing colour.

Not smudged or streaky etc. but a complete lack of any colour.

This applies as a Standalone Device printing from an SD Card or copying from a coloured document or picture. Just the black prints.

So Not a PC problem!

I have removed and cleaned the print head.

The printer has a new set of print cartridges.

I have reloaded the latest printer firmware. But still nothing!

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for joining the conversation, Jancux!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using.  To date, Canon USA hasn't made a printer with a 5-digit model number like the one you mentioned.  Our current generation of inkjet printers use 3-digit and 4-digit model numbers.  If you could double check the model number, that would help us out. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Sorry! Typo Error

Thanks for confirming that!  We appreciate the info, though we need to let you know that the PIXMA MG6250 is not supported by our team here at Canon USA since that printer isn't available in this country.  If you live outside the United States, please click HERE and select your country to find support in your part of the world.  Your fellow Community members are still welcome to offer their advice.

Thanks for choosing Canon!
