I unplugged my MG5530 Pixus Printer as it was shutting down and now it won't turn on again. All video advice I see online just suggests checking the outlet and leaving the printer unplugged for a while, which I have done to no success at all.

Printers are typically pretty forgiving during power interruptions. Start up and shutdown might be a little more sensitive. Verify the power outlet and ensure a secure power connection. If the printer will not start its boot rom might have been damaged or become corrupt. If so, it will require service.
I believe the the MG5530 is for sale in Malaysia.

The printer sells for about $100 now, so that should be considered if you pursue repair.
