I tried to install the driver for PIXMA MG5570 printer by USB connection but the connection will always ended up showing "The printer is not detected. Check the connection."
At first I plug in the printer is detected then the installation is processing. But somehow it will ended up not detected while I'm sure Windows still detect it because Windows hardware disconnect sound were heard when I unplug the USB.
While on the other if I install the driver by wireless it worked flawlessly the problem is I only want to use USB connection only.
Here's the video showing it happen: https://youtu.be/kEz6CLYv99o

Hi Limyx826.
These Canon Community Forums are hosted by Canon U.S.A. The MG5570 is a foreign model, so it may experience some concerns that we are unable to address here. If that is the case, you may find your local branch through the map at the Canon Global website: http://global.canon/en/support/
If the computer is a laptop, double-check that it is plugged in and charging; running on battery power can cause issues for the USB signal.
Also, check that you are using a USB 2 compatible port. Some USB 3 ports have issues with backwards comaptibility.
You may also need to disable the antivirus or firewall to allow the driver installation access to detect the printer's USB connection without interruption.
