My Canon Pixma MG3620 will not power up. the power lamp is off, but the alarm lamp is lit steadily,

Greetings ,
Start by unplugging the device. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Now press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
Next open the printer and look for any paper jams. This could be the corner or edge of a piece of paper. Sometimes using a flashlight can help.
Now reconnect to power an attempt to turn the device on again.
If this doesn't help, the printer will require service.
