PIXMA MG3620 Printed letters are off and misaligned

jUST PURCHASED THIS UNIT AND IT SEEMS THE LETTERS ARE OF AND SOME ARE NOT ALGNED CORRECTLY

Usually when ink cartridges are installed a print head alignment request comes up. It does on my MG3620 which I think is a decent printer and very inexpensive. I prefer to perform this from my PC. I open the Canon My Printer desktop app choose start my printer then printer settings and then the maintenance tab. All the pertinent tests and functions are there including print head alignment.
