I have a Canon PIXMA MG 3620. I bought it 3 weeks ago after having the same problem with the previous printer (same model)
I was able to print for 4 days, then I encountered the following error:
"Canceled the process because an error has occurred."
I read all the posts relevant to this printer.
Unfortunately, I'm with T-Mobile, which has been one nightmare after another. They don't have a clue how to help me.
My T-Mobile is currently set to 2.4 because the printer, and everything else in my house, only works with 2.4
Anyway, after reading the posts, I changed the settings to WAP2.
But that didn't solve the problem. I have re-started the router, the printer, the phone, and disconnected the tablet. I can't disconnect everything in my Wi-Fi because all the lights, electrical outlets, speakers, Alexa, and the alarm run in same Wi-Fi.
But my printer won't work
I get the same message over and over for ever. I've probably put 40 hours in the course of 3 weeks trying to solve the problem.
I've reset the printer to factory settings and the problem doesn't go away.
I'm exhausted from trying to fix the problem and from running from place to place asking for favors to allow me to print so I can do my job.
I've read the manual, which comes in its own app, in detail to get nowhere and nearly in tears from all the frustration.
I can't afford professional services to get me out of this situation. I tried them and spent 2 hours going around in circles. The reality is that they had no idea how to solve my problem and the clock was ticking.
Please help me.

Hi Latina1,
What are you attempting to print from? A mobile device? A computer?
What are you attempting to print? A photo? A document?
What program are you attempting to print from? Have you tried printing a photo from the Canon PRINT app?
Please print network pages. To do this , please follow these steps:
1. Load two sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in your PIXMA MG3620.
2. Please hold the Wi-Fi button down on your PIXMA MG3620.
When the power light starts to blink, let go of the button.
3. Press the Wi-Fi button 1 time.
Two pages will print.
10 lines from the top of the first page, is the name listed next to SSID your home's Wi-Fi name?
5 lines below that, what is listed next to Signal Strength?
2 lines below that, what is listed next to IP Address?
