PIXMA MG2522 no black ink

I recently had to unclog my black inkjet printer nozzle in deep mode because it wouldn't come out right. When I had to print out a document, it wouldn't come out at all. So, I tried to print out a test sheet, but no black ink came out at all! And this was a brand-new cartridge! Only the other colors came out. What do I do?

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA MG2500 series.  The model number should appear on the printer's control panel just above the power button.
