This printer has always been my favorite and worked fine in windows 10. However, this morning I tried to download the win 11 drivers on my new laptop and no go. It cannot finish the installation as it wont detect my printer and I am stuck in the grey screen where it's trying to detect the printer and some bold letters show saying it cannot detect the printer to finish installing and to turn on the printer and hook up the usb cable again, but totally useless. Any fix for this?
I have win 11 but have removed the safe mode.

Greetings,
What version of the drivers did you install?
Did you connect the printer before running the installer and being prompted to connect to USB. This can cause problems. Check device manager and remove any failed USB entries for the device. disconnect, run the installer again and connect when prompted.
Some 3rd party anti-virus programs can cause detection issues. Not sure if you are using or if this applies in your case?
