PIXMA G7020 Scans very dark with a blue tinge

Darren_H

When I scan regular white paper documents on my G7020 the scanned image makes the paper look very dark and even a blue tinge.  I'm guessing I may need to adjust some settings but I've not found any that gets my scanned images to appear the proper white paper color.  I scan wirelessly using my macbook pro.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Darren

Hi Darren_H,

Are you using the IJ Scan Utility to perform your scans?

No I was using the Mac printer/scanner app.  I just tested using the IJ Scan utility and that came out normal to solve the problem.  Thank you so much.  I have a big family with 5 macbooks in the house.  Do you know if there's a way to adjust/correct the scanning using my mac app?  If not then no worries I'll need to download the IJ Scan to each of my families other computers for them to use instead.

thank you,   Darren
