PIXMA G7020 Can't Get Past Language Selection Screen

I have a new PIXMA G7020 and am having trouble with initial setup.  I cannot get past the first question on the printer screen -- language choice.  I select English and press OK, but the printer takes me back to language selection.  I cannot move ahead at all.  What can I do?  Please help!

Select the language and hit the left arrow key to select yes.  Then press OK.
