The scanner function stopped working. I have not gotten an error message. When I try to use it, it looks like it is warming up it never fully opens. The other functions of the printer such as print and copy work fine. Help please?

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or Mac OS, and which version thereof). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

I am using Windows 10. Up until recently the scanner has worked with Windows 10.
