Hi, SteveDillon!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using, which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof), and which applications you're printing from. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.
Thanks and have a great day!

It is a new canon model G6020. It does it in all applications, as I mentioned, even when just making a copy. My computer is Windows 11, but I don't see how that could matter. I have turned the printer off, even unplugged it for 15 minutes, and have rebooted my computer.

Hi,
Just to confirm, when you make a copy of something directly on the printer itself a file from your computer prints in that copy as well?
We look forward to your reply
