Hi all,
I have an Oce CS 231 that had secure print setup by someone else however it is no longer working and I'm not sure what else I need to do or if I'm missing anything. I've read through the various manuals for this device and they don't help. Here are the steps I've followed to print off a secure document:
In Word I've gone to Print -> Properties -> Basic tab -> Output Method -> Selected Secure Print -> User Settings button -> Input an ID and password in their respective fields -> Ok 3 times to close the remaining boxes to send the job and I get a message on Windows that says the document printed.
I've then gone over to the printer selected User Box -> Use Document -> System User Box -> Input the ID -> Password and I constantly get an "Authentication Failed' message. I've checked for things like spelling mistakes and it occurs even if I keep the job ID as the number 1 and the password as the number 1. Not sure what else to do. If you need anymore information please let me know.
