My printer: PIXMA MG3620 Black Wireless, bought in 2021, is working off my Apple iMac (bought 2024), running iOS Tahoe 26.2, and it is mis-feeding paper when printing. I send a job to output on the printer and it immediately will stop and flash the Error Triangle--no printout! I have to play with the paper in the feed to get it to be accepted into the printer feed process. This is a gamble and a waiting game where I must use sensitivity to allow the paper to feed properly! Way off from being productive and efficient! Can anyone help with suggestions and troubleshooting answers? Please, let's work together on this and help out anyone experiencing this issue!! As a matter of fact: I tried reducing the stack size of the loaded paper—that seems to solve the current problem.... Who knew? Who'da thunk it??.... Thanks, Man!!

The PIXMA MG3620 may experience mis-feeding issues, which can be caused by several factors:
Paper Loading: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly. The print side should face down, and the paper guides should be adjusted to fit the paper snugly.
Paper Type: Using the wrong type of paper can lead to feeding problems. Avoid thick or curled paper, as these can cause jams.
Stack Size: Do not exceed the paper load limit. Loading too many sheets can lead to mis-feeding.
To resolve mis-feeding issues, follow these steps:
Check Paper Alignment: Align the edges of the paper stack before loading.
Reduce Paper Load: If the printer struggles with the maximum capacity, try reducing the number of sheets loaded.
Clean the Feed Roller: Dust and debris can affect paper feeding. Clean the paper feed roller if necessary. How to clean paper feed rollers : https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART162678
Prevent Double-Feed: Enable the "Prevent paper double-feed" function in the printer settings to help manage multiple sheets feeding at once.
Check for Jams: Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that may be causing the issue.
My printer is also an MG3620 but it is only a few months old.

Thanks for this list of possible problems & troubleshooting tips. I did do the "Clean the Feed Roller" option through the steps in the link.... It helped for a bit. I will continue to try and trouble shoot more with the listed suggestions.... I'm just wondering: Is it the age of my printer that is causing this issue? Please advise if possible!.... Thanks so much! —Jim Casey.

It should not be the age of the printer, but the use number of prints etc. My previous printer was ten years old and parts started to age out, feed rollers got hard could not pick up photo paper always gave a tray empty error when paper in the tray or if it picked up a page it jammed. I finally tossed it. Don't give up yet give the rollers a good cleaning with denatured alcohol it is the best rubber cleaner to use.
