My MX 470 series printer, copier, scanner, fax not working due to in error status; help!

Pls advise how can i rectify my MX 470 wireless printer, copier, fax, scanner from "in error status" to to operable? I recently purchased a new router and when I got ready to print, it read, "printer is in error status." I need assistance please. Thank you.
