Will there be one?
Seems incredible that it would stop working with the update from OS 10 to 11, when a Brother HL-2270DW of roughly the same age would continue working.

That would ultimately be a question for Canon.
However, there has not been an official driver for your printer since High Sierra.
What you might try:
Uninstall the printer. Connect via wireless. Use a static IP and add the printer to your new OS as an IP printer. I can't promise the level of functionality you will get.
