I have an error code of:  The type of print head is incorrect.  Install the correct print head.  What do I need to do to fix this issue?

Hi TLPitt,

 

First, please reseat the printhead.  To do this, please follow the steps outlined in the Knowledgebase article below:

After reseating the printhead, if the error message reappears, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
