I'm getting the following output from PGBK on my MX922. I've replaced the ink, ran multiple cleanings and tried an alignment to no avail.
Is this pattern an identifiable malfunction to anyone?

Hi tbrock47,
I recommend cleaning the encoder strip in your MX922. Please click HERE for the steps.

I have the same issue with my MG7720. Cleaning the encoder/timing strip did not help. The pattern problem seems to only be with the PGBK pattern.

Didn't resolve the problem on my MX922. i'm wondering if it may be something imbedded in the Canon software that's triggered by numbers of printed documents passed thru the printer or by the age of the printer.. thus causing this problem.
