MX922 connected wirelessly to multiple systems in the house. I have been using the system adjacent to the printer, scanning several documents in serial with only seconds to minutes between scans and many times now I go to press the scan button and it says "Set the PC to start scanning".
- So I press the "Save/Forward" button, verify the on-screen selection is "PC", click OK and I get a list of only "Local (USB)".
- I open the Canon IJ Network Scan Selector EX and see the printer there.
- I then press "Search Again" on the printer - nothing new.
- I run the Canon IJ Network Tool and get this:

- I reset the printer and wait a minute for it to stop rumbling (what is it doing, anyway?)
- Press the "Save/Forward" button, verify PC, press OK, and now the list is filled with all systems.
What gives? Why must I reboot my printer every few scans?
