Can't seem to fix this. Have tried unplugging, changing the cartridges, and cleaning the print head to no success. Any other suggestions?
If not... The MX922 has been great -- if I need to replace it, what would be the new model?

It looks like you have tried everything I would suggest to clear the error. You would qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program.
