Since last week I have been unable to scan - Windows 10 update I think. I have removed all printer drivers and all Canon software. I downloaded and installed drivers from Canon website and installed them. I have downloaded and installed Quick Menu, but the scan row is blank. When I click on the MX800 at the bottom of the Quick Menu, it says Canon MX880 Series so it must recognise that there is a scan function there.
The printer itself will print, it is just that the scan row in Quick Menu is blank with nothing to click.
Update: I have just used the Windows 10 option to have Windows 10 manage the printer and when I select 'Scan', it works, so the problem is that the Quick Menu cannot see the scanner. Please help if you can. Thanks.
