MX450 Printing Wrong Range of Pages

I am attempting to print pages 171-181 of a sofware manual (PDF). But both times I've tried, it has printed 148-158. I thought maybe it had something to do with table of contents being in Roman numerals (i-xiv). But the first chapter starts with Page 15. So the actual page numbering is correct.  I don't understand why the pages that are printing are 23 page numbers lower. Maybe I need to specify 194-204 to get the section I need.

This is the first time I've encountered such a problem with this or any other printer. Tried printing a section of my smartphone manual yesterday and had no problem. But I it doesn't seem logical that the manual itself could be the problem.  Yet why aren't the pages I'm specifying the ones being printed?  I reprinted the selection a second time, thinking I'd somehow typed in the wrong numbers.  I am not making this up, though it seems very bizarre.

If anyone has any idea why this is happening and how to correct it,  I'd really appreciate it.

Hi joelee52,

If the smartphone manual that you tried to print printed the pages specified correctly, there is most likely an issue with the software manual that you are trying to print that is causing the page numbers printed to be different than the ones specified. Would you be able to provide a link to the PDF manual that you are trying to print?

I am trying to print a Dragon Dictate manual which I downloaded to my hard drive months ago.  I specfically want to print the section related desktop commands, but what prints out is a completely different topic.   I am going to contact tech support for my PDF program.  I understand that roman numerals can cause problems, but Nuance seems to have avoided that problem by not duplicating any page numbers.  This is apparenly not  Canon-specific issue.
