MX350 printer/scanner cycles off, on

Pixma MX350 printer had been working well. Just started turning itself off, then back on. Any remedies?

1. Is the printer connected to a power strip or directly to a wall outlet?
2. Is the printer setup wireless or with a USB cable?
3. How long has the printer been powering itself on and off?

Yes, to using power strip. Just did it for 1 day. Saw something about holding down the on button for a few seconds. That seems to have fixed problem.
