MP560 and MAC OS 10.13.1 HighSierra

Retired747
Apprentice

After I installed MAC OS HighSierra 10.13.1 the app called "Solutions" that allowed all functions on my PIXMA MP560 like scanning, copy, print, etc suddenly stopped working.

Tried to reinstall 'Navigator' software as I cannot find the 'Solutions' app anywhere but printer/scanner is still dead.

Any solutions or suggestions would be very welcomed as the printer is a great one ...when it worked 😞

Thanks

Eric

Hi Retired747,

I'm afraid this model was retired prior to the release of Macintosh OS Hig Sierra, and no drivers have been written for the new operating system.  The printer will continue to work with OSX 10.11 or earlier, and will function as a photocopier regardless of operating system. Older versions of the drivers may not provide full functionality on new computers.

If you would like to replace your printer, you are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price, and with free FedEx Ground shipping. If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 seven days a week, 8am to Midnight ET. Let them know you have been working with email technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply and printer support.

I have tried to call your  866 443 8002 but a recorded message says that I cannot be connected. Maybe because I am calling from Canada?

Please advise.

Kind Regards

Eric
