MP280 printing perfectly fine cannot scan

Hi Good morning,

 

My issue is here, recently I switched from my old HDD to a new one, before that I have no issue working with my PIXMA MP280 printer.  But when I try to open the Canon MP Navigator EX I get an error message " Cannot start MP Navigator EX   check 1. Supported model is listed MX870, MX340, MX350 Canoscan 9000F... and so on. 

 

My printer is online and I can print, but cannot scan from the solutions menu because I get Cannot start MP Navigator EX message.

 

Hope you can help me with my problem. I need my printer and scanner for my businness. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thank you so much.
