MP210 Printer Print Quality: Images very light, but documents are fine?

Hello there,

My Canon MP210 printer has printed beautifully in the past, I even print my own papergoods on it.  Recently, directly after getting new ink cartridges, it no longer prints images with full color (they turn out very faint)-- documents on the other hand, print fine!  I've tried tweaking options, cleaning the thing, and no change.

Thoughts would be most appreciated, as I'm sick of paying Office Max to make prints for me.
