I have installed new cartridges, cleaned nozzles. When I print black text I get a blank page. When I do the print test I get the attached. When I try to print an image, black is missing as in the attached image.

In the nozzle check that you provided, it does not show that the black is printing. The page should look like this:
Please make sure that the PGBK ink tank contains ink.
Next, please perform 2 deep cleanings:
1. Flick the HOME screen and then tap Setup on your PIXMA MG7720.
2. Tap Maintenance.
3. Tap Deep cleaning.
4. Tap Yes to clean the printhead.
Once complete, please print another nozzle check.
Does the Nozzle Check print correctly?
If not, your PIXMA MG7720 would require service.
