The printer started issuing the dreaded B204 errors. Turned it off, reseated cartidges, etc, still getting the errors.
Any suggestions?
Thanx,
Dennis

You should have read first that those suggestions (ludicrously suggesting take off the orange tapes as if it was new out of the box) & every reply that said it did not work.
I had a Pixma MG 3050 exceptionally well-maintained just about 2 years old and out of the blue last week getting the B204 message and none of the suggestion made by anyone worked. I actually took it to an authorised Canon repair service in Woking & when they gave me an estimate for the repair with VAT based on me leaving it there and collecting it myself of £63.00 (over £15 more if I had wanted it delivered to me) I expressed horror & promptly bought online a Pixma TS 3350 for £39.99 at Argos & picked it up the dame day!
I left the old PIXMA MG 3050 outside my flat where people leave goods they no longer want with a note attached saying it doesn't work with a Canon error message B204 - if you want to fix it you're welcome to try. It was gone in 90 minutes.
