My printer keeps giving this message

Error

Paper Slot Output

The paper is jammed. Clear the paper and press ok.

 

I have checked and found no paper in the machine. I have also turned the machine off and unplugged it from its powersource and checked again for any obstruction. None were found. After waiting a few minutes and plugging the printer in and powering on the error message is still popping on the home screen.

Have you checked all the different areas for jams? http://kbsupport.cusa.canon.com/system/selfservice.controller?CONFIGURATION=1011&PARTITION_ID=1&secu... if you have, maybe one of the rollers isn't moving properly so it *thinks* it's jammed?
