I own a Pixma MG5220. I bought a disk tray in order to print on disks. When I try to print a disk I get the following meassage
A printer supporting the selected paper size is not installed.
I have printer compatiable disks
I have a disk tray for my printer
There is a place on my printer to put the disk tray in.
Running Windows 10 64 bit
I have downloaded the most recent drivers 7/22/15
I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them
There are no firmware upgrades for my printer
I seem to be finding information that this function is not availble in the US for my printer. Can anyone confirm this ? Is there a workaround -- this seems like a silly decision on Cannon's part if true.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nicole

Hi nikki630,
Printing on CD/DVDs is not supported with the PIXMA MG5220.

This is apparently true in the US. It is clearly not true elsewhere.

My MG5220 seems to think it can print onto disks. It does not have the problem you are describing though. Image Garden *can* select the MG5220 but when I print, the tray goes in for a while then ejects.
