None of my devices: 16" MacBook Pro, iPhone 11, iPads, will find the printer. I have reset my router. I have tried to find my network on the MG3220 but get an error of E21. Is this a problem with incompatable protocols? How do I reconnect my printer to my wifi?
Thanks!

Greetings,
New printer, new issue?
or
Old printer, new issue?
E2,1 error - Problem with the network configuration.
Your printer is certified to run under 11.0 Big Sur, using the IJ Networking Tool v4.7.2
Support | MG Series - Inkjet | PIXMA MG3200/MG3220 | Canon USA
I don't know if it will work with 11.1, but you can try and let us know.
I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the printer using the Tool above. Trying to install new software over an existing "broken" configiguration might not be a good idea.

Thanks for the help.
Is it an old printer that suddenly fell out of the network.
Your recommendation of reinstalling the IJ Neworking Tool v4.7.2 presents me with the logistics of doing so. I do not know how to do this as it is not on the internet.
Do I have to download the tool via an ethernet cable from my router?

I have downloaded the IJ Networking Tool v4.7.2. I hooked the printer to the MacBook Pro. I then clicked on the Networking Tool in the Finder. But the Printer is nowhere to be found. I restarted the Printer, but it does not show up. The Mac will not recognize the printer while it has been connected to it by USB.
Any thoughts?
Hank

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your attention.
I used the very document you recommended, but it did not help: when I went through the protocol the printer was not found by the Mac.
What I believe I need to do is to reset the printer. Do you know how to do this?
Yours,
Hank

Hallejulah: solved.
I reset the printer using these steps found online:
1) Turn the printer off
2) Press and hold the STOP button for 3 seconds.
3) Then press the ON button and release the STOP button.
4) While holding the ON button, press the STOP button 5 times.
5) Release all buttons.
6) LCD Screen should turn on and be blank. After a minute or better turn the printer off once more.
Thank you all!
Happy Holidays,
Hank
