MG2950 says 'Printer is not responding'

im not sure what to do, print queue simply says 'error printing' and nothing I do on the printer itself shows up on my laptop. Im printing using a wired connection if that helps, please help as soon as possible as I need these prints done by tonight, really sorry for any inconvenience

Never mind i found the issue! no idea how it happened but my printer had 3 different options as printer, printer(1) and printer(copy 1), printer (1) works

Windows installed it three times for some reason, just printer is the original install,  printer(1) means first copy  printer (copy 1) is a copy of the copy.
