MG2950 alarm light flashing

Hi, I have this printer and no matter what I do I can't get it to work. The alarm light flashes 4 times. I get error code 168A when trying to print. I've tried everything. I know this is related to the ink cartridge but it was fine a few days ago. I've uninstall Ed everything and reinstalled it, checked the ink cartridge, everything should work but its just ceased working. The only difference is I moved house and am using a new Internet network that is shared. Can anyone suggest any resolution?

The 4 flash/168A error is an indication that the ink cartridges used in your PIXMA MG2950 may not be compatible.  Please make sure that you are using ink cartridges compatible with your PIXMA MG2950, the PG-545 and CL-546 ink cartridges.
