MG2520 scan prints but i don't want it to

skaizun

When I use the Canon MG2520 quick or main menu to scan an image, whether automatically or document or picture or custom, it prints out the scan, even though I don't want it to do so. Fortunately, I can hit the printer's "stop" button, but, obviously, I don't want it to do that. I have the latest Canon software, and will use my other scanner for now, but any help would be appreciated. Also, the image is always fuzzy, no matter which resolution setting I use. FWIW, Win Vista.

Hello.

Try resetting the settings in the IJ Scan Utility to default.  Open the program and click the Settings menu.  Once there, reset the settings for each tab on the left to see if this will resolve the issue.
