I have an MG 7120 plugged into my wife's laptop running Win10. The printer has worked on this computer before but is currently displaying a support code 1403....."the type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head" All inks are genuine Canon and cartridges look good. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hello.
Turn the printer off and unplug the power from the printer. Then check to see if there are any obstructions inside the printer that may be keeping the ink carriage from moving properly.

So I called Support & the very nice rep didn't fix it. Now what? Do I just give up on you & get an HP?

It terrible printer. I had purchased no long ago and has same problem and no matter how I follow the instrusction and still cannot made the incorrect print head disappear. I will not buy Cannon printer anymore.
